THE HIDEAWAYS

The Hideaways are an iconic pop group that flourished in the mid-1960s as part of the Merseybeat scene. Playing at The Cavern Club over 400 times, more frequently than any other band including The Beatles; (they now hold the undisputed record). They are also noted for their connection with the famous 60’s Timex Watches TV ad campaign. Although the band went through a few personnel changes, they can now boast to be one of the few remaining Mersey bands to still perform with the original members (apart from their dear old pal John Shell).
